The extent of the service provided by cBidz is to provide a medium for two things:
- Connect users, both – sellers and buyers; and
- Let the auctioning platform determine the fair market value, based on the user community size, for the listed item.
cBidz does not mediate the payment aspect nor logistics with delivery/pickup. Listing an item should be considered a commitment to sell by the seller and a bid should be considered a commitment to buy the item at the respective prices. Once the auction closes, the buyer and seller connect and figure out delivery/pickup and payment options. The de facto method is pickup by the buyer unless the seller specifies delivery or is negotiated between the respective parties.
